Let It Roll parties stole the show probably thanks to an inconventional way of organization and support of so-called „underground“ styles, so we are definitely looking forward to another part of the serie which will take place on November 14th. Headliner for this party will be the famous jamaican MC Earl 16, which has made reggae popular all over the world. He had been also cooperating with main representatives of the „leftfield genre“ (Dreadzone, Pressure Drop and Leftfield themselves, of course). Though Earl 16 is not the only foreign guest there. Musically interesting seems to be the performance of an asian underground-oriented group called the Kaliyuga Sound (Yukimura, Shin, Ravi). At Abaton, on three stages (one of them purely in the jungle style, not d&b)…let it roll!

Knowledge Awards are the prestigious awards of the world´s drum´n´bass scene annually announced by british Knowledge magazine. Not only does the Knowledge mag have a determining influence on, concerning success of certain producers, Knowledge Awards do also predict, what´s hot and what´s not in the upcoming year. A person to talk about this might be the best newcomer once Marky or repeatedly nomineed (and winning) Andy C. So Ladies & Gentlemen, this is the point of view of our english colleagues. Jamie Quinn and Dan Goldstein warm the cockles of all gourmets´hearts more and more each day. Under nickname Goldtrix they reached top positions in official charts thanks to housy „It´s Love“ tune. Another record „Smart Pants“ was made in cooperation with Ed Rush & Optical. But for we are mainly interested in, is the activity at the dnb field. Who wouldn´t remember this awesome debut Paradiso for the Metro Recs?! At present do not forego their common track Vertigo, which is, by my opinion, hot candidate for the best tracks of the year. Since Monday has been also out Hit The Freeway remix (originally from Toni Braxton), which you had chance to hear in Matrix´s Roxy set. Further on, I recommend the remix of the track Insatiable that comes from the house version as well. If you still think that the duo´s sound is way too soft, listen to the newest affair Telepathy – dark atmosphere, rolling bass kick and cutting bassline that is only Matrix able to do! The action no.1 for this weekend will definitely be tonight´s Bre­aksome at Roxy with Adam Freeland. Beside the „breakbeat guru“ will play east autenthic Jan 2 and Dusan Only One supported by the resident Kaplick. In chill-out, you can relax by listening to Akira´s and 2K´s plates. In Moravia there is no end of jungle actions, though I mention one above all – at forest park Benátky in Ostrava will play Koogi together with Elvis and C-Phone, further on Buback, Ethernal Optimist and Limitedd. Saturday night at Punto belongs to Akira again and Nitrous. Another club Zdeřina in Police nad Metují will welcome Koogi. And if you won´t feel like going anywhere in these cold days, on Sunday 7pm turn on Radio 1, our program Shadowbox.

Je to už vyše týždňa čo nás svojou návštevou v Prahe poctil nositeľ veľmi nebezpečného vírusu dnb…o sete a party samotnej sa toho už povedalo a napísalo dosť, ale čo si o tom všetkom myslí Ed? First of all I'd like to point out at very interesting (as far as line-up is concerned) looking night at M-Club in Ostrov nad Ohri, where will play beside „the inseparable two“ Akira+Dave also the Mr. of slower beats, DJ Hoffee. Comfortable atmosphere at pilsener Inspiral Club will make up DJs Philip TBC and Kaplick with their breakbeat hop. Koogi will play in Street club in Jablonec tonight. Our „domestic product“ Juanita Juarez succeeded for the second time and is looking forward to participate at the world-famous contest for newcoming DJs Red Bull Music Academy , this time in Cape Town, South Africa. There´ve been rumours around that he will take also his fave teddy-bear to cuddle :)) The artist himself disclaimed it.

Tonight in Ostrava's Fabric Philip TBC is going to spin 3 turntables representing us at the first action of both Slim Slam Drum In Da Bush with Moving Fusion, as the headliner. In Palac Akropolis (Prague) play Kaplick with Voita and broken weekend continues on Saturday in this pleasant club with Philip TBC again and Dys Martin. On Saturday, the city of Břeclav prepares another regular night called Saigon. Resident Sayko invited Koogi at this time. And, finally, on Sunday don't forget to turn on Radio 1 at 7pm with Nitrous & Koogi! Have a nice weekend!

This Friday and the next Saturday (26th and 27th September) another „massive“ parties take place in Ostrava´s fave club Fabric and Roxyin Prague. Slim Slam Drum in Da Bush will welcome headliners Moving Fusion. The organizers apologize for changes in line-up, due to „serious family reasons“ only half of a couple will perform. Mr.Daniel Spar Sparham has cancelled the gig in Ostrava, nevertheless he will turn up in Roxy. Anyway,the entrance fee in Fabric is not changing, but as 1 our friend said, we regret that because of far-famed atmosphere typical for Ostrava. Jeff Langton will play planned 2 hours only by himself. For the chill-out, expect the special guest Dj Blue. Click the title for line-up.

Drumandbass.cz has got the brand new look and it is apparent at the first sight that the guys did a good work. Nice colours, well-arranged menu and basically good orientation in reading. You can find there classic sections as news, partylist, archive, DJs, music, links and guestbook.Some sections have not been filled yet, but for example „Music“ already offers sets available to download – from MKS, Pixie, Wintermute and couple of tracks from Mystif.
