These are pictures from the first Roxy breakbeat night with Adam Freeland – BREAKBEAT CONFERENCE – which took place on the 7th of December. We took them with our new digital camera, so we hope you'll like them. The party was much better than I've expected. The young DJ Kaplick (Lighthouse) was spinning his sometimes lighter and progressive breaks and sometimes fast rolling nu-school stuff when we arrived at around 11 p.m. I really enjoyed his perfect mixing.  Adam Freeland came out from the backstage at exactly 0:30 and dropped his first tune. It was just amazing! He played anything from electro breaks to punk-like guitar tracks. He really enjoyed it himself and the mostly older audience was screaming and shouting with their hands up all night long. His perfect mixing technique and not one boring tune made the party an unforgettable event. I missed the heavy nu-school bass at times, but he always played something that would fix it. Josef Sedlon (the owner of the Lighthouse agency, which threw this party) continued with great rolling tracks until Jan 2 (East Authentic) replaced him. I only heard the first part of Jan's set, because I was already pretty tired (at 4:30 a.m.) , and I didn't like it, because he played too much tech-house. People say that the second part was very good though. It was a great success for Lighthouse and I'm really looking forward to the next BREAKEAT CONFERENCE (maybe with Lee Coombs). Here are the pictures! Enjoy 'em!
