So it's finally over. We've counted it up, the special Shadowbox radio show was succesfully aired on Sunday the 19th. Pred nejakým časom ma napadlo, že napísať nejaký článok o systémoch by nebolo zlé, pretože by si to podľa mňa zaslúžili. Aby to však bolo autentickejšie, rozhodol som sa pre rozhovor. Po akcii Cirkus Alien pred niekoľkými mesiacmi v Abatone, som sa rozhodol definitívne a stretol som sa s Alefom, jedným zo zakladateľov sound systému HYPNO, ktorý určite mnohí z vás poznajú. Very good news is coming from the Lighhouse Agency. After the first successful BREAKBEAT CONFERENCE with Adam Freeland at Roxy the next one is being prepared and this time, KOMA&BONES are supposed to come, although it's going to be at RADOST FX and not Roxy. The date is the 22nd of February 2003. This trio from Lancester released a fantastic album BLINDED BY SCIENCE on TCR last year, they founded their own label FORGED RECORDINGS and produced some great remixes for X-PRESS 2, EZ ROLLERS, ARTHUR BAKER or NEW ORDER. Nuže, ako vám bol Bartias sľúbil, tu je profil LTJ BUKEMa. Ako hlavný zdroj som použil stránku Good Looking Records, takže je to viac menej preklad. Nájdete tam mimochodom veľké množstvo informácií, ďaľšie profily (trebárs aj MC FIVE-ALIVEa alebo CONRADa, ktorí tiež prídu do Roxy) atď…Je to síce v angličtine, ale snáď to nebude moc veľký problém. Tak si to užite :)
The Prague's best-known club ROXY decided to host a drumandbass party with a famous DJ every month. The Slovak trio Veneer, which is finishing their debut album for Escape/EMI under the production supervision of Milan Cais (Tata Bojs) and Dušan Neuwerth (the producer of the last Ecstasy of Saint Theresa album) is releasing the first single Snobbish Heart. It's their third official track after the remixes of Believe In Me (Lenny Kravitz) and I'm [Not Really] Optimistic (EOST). The excellent one-man project Abuse provides the B side. [BY BARTIAS]

The results will be counted up on the 15th of January and a list of 20 BEST TRACKS EVER (according to our readers) will be set up. Okrem klasických veľkých aj malých komerčných akcií sa na Silvestra odohrala aj systemácka party v pivniciach na Smíchove. Ako to tam vyzeralo si možete pozrieť tu. Akciu organizovali aj ľudia z HYPNA a BASS BEASTU, zúčastnilo sa ovšem pomerne veľké množstvo junglových a tekkno systémov.
I just realized, that we have totally forgotten to wish you a great NEW YEAR…that's why I'd like to make it up to you with some pictures from our little New Year celebration party at Punto Azul. One part of our ShadowBox crew including Akira, Chemix and me spent the last moments of the Old Year there. Here it is!
The indoor music festival ACUVUE COSMIC CITY took place on the 21st of December, featuring amongst others Ed Rush, Da Babas (a Czech female freestyle group), Koogi (our ShadowBox boss) or the hip-hoppers Phi-Life Cypher. Who are the most prolific producers? In my opinion it's got to be Jason and Paul. Not only do the duo release one great track after another, they manage to administer four lables at the same time. The near future should bring yet another bunch of new tunes. Out on CIA is the # 013 by Baron – ‚Meet the Creeper‘ / ‚Hell Billy‘, next wax is ‚On the Bridal‘ EP from Total Science. January 27 is the release date for CIA #14 – ‚Booty Conspiracy‘ / ‚Make u Mine‘ from Mathematics. Fix005 comes out on February 3, featuring Q Project (‚Modern World Melody‘ / ‚Loose Talk‘). February 24 is the second coming of Squash, this time it is a VIP version plus a remix from BC! Last but not least, there's a Sektor4 release. The tracklist says it all: Klute – ‚P.K.P.‘, Calibre/Beta2/Zero Tolerance – ‚Cheap n Nasty‘, Total Science – ‚No Smokin‘, Hive/Echo – ‚Elysian Park‘.
